head shaving

Today a friend is shaving her head to raise money for cancer, so I made her a hat. She'll probably hate it, but it's the thought that counts, right? I made it big, since she has said in the past that she has a larger than average head, and I put holes in it because she was worried about overheating wearing a toque all day. It's based on this pattern: , but I decided I didn't like the shell repetition so I improvised part way! I found this late last night too: so many I'll try that one later.
